The Scrolled Turk, a Turkish style drop spindle with cutouts, is a unique Jeri Brock creation. Born from a passion for fiber arts and woodworking, particularly scroll sawing, the Scrolled Turk is an excellent spinning tool that lets you showcase your personal style while enjoying your craft. The standard Scrolled Turk is my preferred spindle for spinning singles. While I may be biased, I genuinely love these spindles, especially this size. It's compact yet not too small, making it easy to carry in a bag or purse for spinning on the go. It's not overly light or heavy, with most standards falling within what I consider the ideal spinning weight range of 0.75 to 1.0 oz (some wood and pattern combinations may vary). Whether you're spinning laceweight, fingering weight, or heavier yarn, this spindle will handle the task.
