When the bassinet is not needed, it can be folded down for compact storage. No tools are needed. Everything you need to use right away is included in the box: California Dreaming Bassinet, Pure Compressed Cotton Mattress, Mattress Cover, and Travel Bag. Dimensions: Open Size 39.4"L x 21.7"W x 31.5H, Folding Size L 39.4 x W 21.7 x H 5.9, Weight 22.5 lbs. Note: Some infants move around and wiggle to corners to press themselves up on it as it mimics the safety and security of a womb.
