- Hardware RAID with Flexible Modes: The D5-310 HDD enclosure features a hardware RAID system controlled by a dedicated RAID knob on the back of the device, allowing users to easily switch between RAID 5, 0, 1, 10, and Single (individual disks) modes. This true hardware RAID ensures superior performance and reliability compared to software-based solutions. The inclusion of a hot spare disk feature further enhances data security by automatically replacing failed drives in RAID 1, 5, or 10 configurations, minimizing downtime and data loss risk.
- Fully Compatible with Multiple Operating Systems: Unlike many devices that struggle with macOS compatibility, the D5-310 USB storage seamlessly works with Windows, macOS (including the latest versions), and Linux. It requires no additional drivers, making it a hassle-free solution for multi-platform environments, including servers, TVs, and set-top boxes.
- High-Speed USB 3.1 Gen 1 Interface: With a blazing-fast transfer speed of up to 5Gbps (actual read/write speeds of 220MB/s), the D5-310 external storage ensures rapid data transfers, such as moving a 1GB file in just 4 seconds. This makes it ideal for demanding workflows, reducing wait times and boosting productivity.
- Free Windows Backup Software & Smart Features: The D5-310 raid enclosure includes TPC Backupper, a free Windows backup tool that supports scheduled, incremental, and differential backups. Combined with smart features like hard drive sleep mode, temperature-controlled fans, and power-on recovery, it ensures efficient, energy-saving operation and robust data protection for long-term reliability.
- Massive 120TB Storage Capacity: The D5-310 direct attached storage supports up to 5 hard drives, each with a capacity of up to 24TB, delivering a staggering total of 120TB. It accommodates 3.5-inch SATA HDDs, 2.5-inch SATA HDDs, and SSDs, with tool-free drive bays for easy installation and replacement, ensuring a seamless storage expansion experience.
