ROOTS: An Autobiography by Haim Nisimov Paperback – Large Print, March 12, 2026

This is an autobiography written by my late Grand Uncle Haim Nisimov. Nisimov tells the story of his life from childhood until the year 2013, when he finished the book. Haim tells his stories of our family, his faith, and memories from his grandparents, parents, his time in the Israeli army, time as a taxi driver, moving to America, and much more. My name is Adam Naim, publishing the book on the Nisimov family’s behalf. Haim is my granduncle. Not only was he just my grand uncle, but he was the father of four wonderful kids: Ofer, Alon, Amir, and Oshrat. Haim was a grandfather to many grandchildren, as well as a dear brother to my grandmother Tami. Haim was the husband to his wonderful wife Haya. They have both sadly passed away, and we are honoring their legacy by publishing the book he wrote. The book also includes personal letters from our family members. All of which are from 2013. In the book, Haim originally included the letters in Hebrew as they were written to him. However, since the book—originally written in Hebrew—has now been translated into English, the personal letters have also been translated.Lastly, there is now an epilogue included at the end. It includes a personal letter from myself to Haim, as well as a eulogy speech from my grandmother — Haim’s sister — Tami Dvora. Read more
