28 AWG Solid Tinned Copper Wire from Remington Industries is a single strand, uninsulated wire. It consists of a bare copper wire that is coated in a layer of tin. This coating prevents oxidation but still allows for excellent soldering, electrical connectivity, and pliability of the wire. Tinned copper wire is useful for lead wire, connecting electronic components on a circuit board, and jewelry making, among other applications utilizing uninsulated wire. This wire meets the ASTM B33 standards for tinned copper and complies with the RoHS directive.
