Rabbi Matzah: The Hanukkah Book

A hilarious, heartfelt Hanukkah adventure — with one slightly mysterious rabbi. When Mike and Maya accidentally time-travel to ancient Jerusalem, they don’t mean to meet Judah Maccabee, battle the Greeks, or (almost) explode the menorah. But someone has to save Hanukkah — and according to Rabbi Matzah, they’re it.This isn’t a textbook or a how-to guide. It’s a story — filled with miracles, questions, jelly donuts, and one rabbi with a matzah wand. Along the way, Mike and Maya learn what Hanukkah is really about: courage, light, memory, and meaning.Perfect for ages 6–12, this book blends Jewish history, modern humor, and warm family tradition in a way kids (and grown-ups) will love. Whether you're lighting candles for the first time or the fiftieth, Rabbi Matzah: The Hanukkah Book is a new kind of holiday read — silly, smart, and deeply spirited.Full-color illustrations on every pageIncludes Hanukkah songs, recipes, and activitiesWritten and illustrated by award-winning designer Suzanne Pell They came for the latkes.
