Patagonia Ascensionist 55L Alpine Climbing Pack

Move fast and light on technical terrain with the Patagonia Ascensionist 55L Alpine Climbing Pack — a streamlined alpine climbing and mountaineering pack built for committed routes where every gram counts. Made for climbers, mountaineers, and ski-mountaineers who need weather-resistant capacity without the bulk.

Why you'll love it

• Weather-resistant build — recycled ripstop nylon with a TPU-film laminate and DWR finish sheds snow, spindrift, and passing storms.
• Strips down for the summit push — the framesheet, hipbelt, and top lid all remove so you can shed weight when the route gets serious.
• Climb-ready carry — a reinforced rope strap and dual ice-tool attachments keep your gear secure and within reach.
• True alpine capacity — 55 liters swallow a full day-and-overnight kit, rack, and layers for big objectives.
• Made responsibly — Fair Trade Certified sewn, supporting the people who built it.
