Lily Lizard the Frog

Families come in all shapes and sizes! Lily is a tiny tadpole in search of a family. She refuses to give up until her dream comes true when she's adopted by a lizard. Your child will love this timeless, poetic story about love, acceptance and perseverance. This adorable story touches on themes of love and hope and teaches you that family doesn’t necessarily have to be those who are related to you. I think this story would be a wonderful lesson to young children, especially those in foster homes, as it will show them that somewhere out there someone is wishing to have a child just as much as they are wishing for a family. The beautiful and colorful illustrations done by Liliia Ivolha just add to the soft tone of this story and contribute to the atmosphere. Overall, I think this is such a wonderful children’s book and would recommend it for young children.- Readers Favorite - 5 stars Read more
