Lavune Candle

Lavune is a small-batch candle line from Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere. Each scent is numbered like a fragrance house and developed to capture a specific mood — a winter forest, an evening on a balcony, a summer doorway flung open. Soy-blend wax, hand-poured in Los Angeles, in a heavyweight tinted-glass jar made to live on a shelf even when the wick's trimmed and the candle's resting.

Choose your scent

N°02 Dusk — Intoxicating and complex, the brand's signature pour. Bergamot, clove leaf, and muguet up top; heliotrope, tobacco flower, and myrrh through the heart; firewood, suede, and musk at the base. Black tea and white florals — "boutique hotel lobby" energy. Burns year-round.

N°05 Evergreen — A creamy winter forest. Eucalyptus, fir needle, and peppermint up top; cypress, cinnamon, clove, and raspberry through the heart; cedarwood, patchouli, and sugar at the base. Pine-forward but balanced — the Christmas tree without the dust.

N°06 Solstice — Sun-soaked and uplifting. Heliotrope flower, blood orange, and lavender; a heart of jasmine, oakmoss, and neroli leaves; cedarwood and amber at the base. Doors open, friends arriving, last light through the window.

N°10 Amber — An everyday warm amber. Lemon zest and amber crystal up top; clove leaf, French lavender, and blushed amber through the heart; patchouli, musk, and sandalwood at the base. Soothing and casual — the candle you light because it's Tuesday.

Material

Soy-blend wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, cotton wick, tinted-glass vessel.

Care

Trim the wick to 1/4″ before each burn. The first burn should run long enough to let the wax pool across the full surface — about two to three hours — to prevent tunneling. Never leave a burning candle unattended or in a draft.
