- THE FIRST AMERICAN DOLLAR | Before the United States minted its own coins, Spanish 8 Reales circulated as the dollar across the colonies and became the foundation of the new nation’s economy.
- HISTORICAL AMERICA TREASURE | Known as “Pieces of Eight,” these coins were essential for daily trade, international commerce, and even pirate lore during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
- ORIGIN OF THE DOLLAR SYMBOL | The iconic dollar sign is believed to trace back to the design of these coins, which were recognized and trusted across the Americas and beyond.
- CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC COLLECTIBLE | Each 8 Reales coin is verified genuine, offering collectors confidence in owning a tangible relic of the world and U.S. history presented in a black box (187mm x 126mm x 25mm) along with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the ANA (American Numismatic Association)
- IMPORTANT & DEMONETIZED COINS | Each coin in this collection is over 200 years old, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, which means its condition may vary due to the passage of time.
