Hula Dancers Hawaii Vintage Photograph – Mid-century Oahu Wall Art Print | Hawaiian Culture Wall Decor for Home or Office

Title: "Kodak Hula Show & Luau #18" - This lovely vintage scene is from Oahu, Hawaii, captured by my father-in-law Professor Jean Cazemajou in 1958. The Kodak Hula Show & Luau was part of a Kodak tourist performance for early visitors before Hawaii became a state! These were the days of singer Alfred Apaka and his official Hawaii Aloha Week song "Gay Hawaiian Party." The dancing ladies are supported by musicians behind them, perhaps dancers themselves in years gone by! This picture is part of a book my wife Agnès and I are putting together with the working title "Midcentury Road Trip: Images from a French Family's American Adventure in the 1950s." This photograph represents my passion for heritage photography. The original photo by Jean is on a color film slide which I rescued and expertly scanned and restored with painstaking faith to the original. A black border surrounds the image, from the original slide frame. The art print, produced by hand by me, follows my principles of tender loving care outlined below. This artwork is available as an unframed art print. See "Production Method" below for details.
