Caring for your Teak Cabinet

Touchstone’s TechTeak cabinet is finished at the factory with “Teak-Shield”. Reapplication of “Teak-Shield” is recommended over the life of your cabinet depending on your location’s weather.

Water Repellent Shield

This innovative non-oil finish for teak offers a protective barrier against stains and mildew, allowing moisture to escape from the wood effectively. The transparent Teak Shield formula not only preserves the natural patina color of teak but also forms a barrier that makes it difficult for liquids to seep into surfaces. This protective layer prevents mold and mildew growth, ensuring that liquids bead on the surface instead of staining the furniture. This feature facilitates easy cleaning as spills can be effortlessly wiped away.

Water based and no VOCs

Golden Care products are 100% water-based and do not contain hazardous Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Water is the transporting agent for the active ingredients that protect your furniture. Once the product has been applied, the water simply evaporates.

• Non-toxic
• Non-corrosive
• Not harmful
• 100% Biodegrable

Patented NanoSurfaceProtec Technology

In Golden Care's patented technology, water-repellent nano-particles are significantly smaller than the pores of the applied surface. This, combined with its low viscosity, enables the liquid to deeply penetrate the material and chemically bond to the inner pore walls, making the surface resistant to water.
