To enhance your gaming experience, our High Flying Dice Games now feature mounted counters. 'Crossfire Hurricane: The Battle of Long Tan' recreates the largest battle fought by Australian forces in South Vietnam, occurring in August 1966. A patrol from the 6th Royal Australian Rifles (RAR) unexpectedly encountered a large Viet Cong (NLF) force moving to attack the Australian base at Nui Dat, sparking a fierce, four-hour firefight amidst heavy rain. At times, Australians were outnumbered six to one, with hand-to-hand combat. Players assume the roles of commanders on both sides, balancing offensive and defensive strategies. The challenge is to match or surpass the achievements of historical counterparts. Includes: Four 11" x 17" maps, 560 double-sided unit counters, one Player Aid Card, and an 8-page rules book.
