- WEED CONTROL FORMULATED FOR SOUTHERN LAWNS: Sertay contains 75% sulfosulfuron; the same active ingredient as the Leading Brand, the top herbicide for grass, broadleaf, and sedge control in warm-season turf.
- YOUR ANSWER TO SUMMER SEDGE: When you need weed control plus sedge takedown, turn to Sertay. This proven herbicide works on grassy and broadleaf weeds as well as on sedge, nutsedge, and kyllinga. Apply spring, summer, or fall to young, actively growing weeds. See the product label for application timing and directions.
- GET TOUGH ON POA. Sertay delivers proven power to take on difficult Poa annua with visible results in 3-4 weeks. For improved effectiveness, apply Sertay in warm, moist conditions and apply to young, actively growing Poa (annual bluegrass) prior to tillering. Do not apply if rainfall or irrigation is expected within two hours after application.
- TAKE WEED CONTROL TO THE LANDSCAPE LEVEL: Sertay power isn’t limited to the lawn. Application around woody ornamentals, perennial groundcovers, and warm-season ornamental grasses keep landscaped areas weed-free. Sertay may be used in residential and business sites as well as on athletic fields and golf course fairways, roughs, and tees. See the product label for complete use site information.
- IDEAL OVERSEEDING PARTNER: Use Sertay ahead of planting perennial ryegrass in the fall and during green-up in the spring for a clean start to each season. Follow the product label for overseeding application timing, rates, and directions.
- HOLD BACK UNWANTED GRASS SPECIES IN WARM-SEASON TURF: Formulated specifically for southern lawns, Sertay suppresses invading cool-season species such as Poa annua (annual bluegrass), tall fescue, and perennial ryegrass. Sertay is labeled to safely use on the following warm-season grasses; bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, buffalograss, centipedegrass, kikuyugrass, St. Augustinegrass, seashore paspalum, and zoysiagrass. Refer to the product label for complete application directions.
- NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN ALASKA, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, OR VERMONT. Always read and follow label instructions. Not all products are registered for use in every state.
