- CONNECT AND RECONNECT WITHOUT RUINING YOUR STRIP — The flip-latch design clamps directly onto the copper pads of your 8mm LED tape light with even, controlled pressure - no piercing, no pad scraping, no destroyed sections. If you clip it on wrong-side-up or reverse the polarity (+/−), just lift the white latch, flip the strip, and try again. Many users find a solid connection on the first attempt; the latch design makes it forgiving when they don't.
- 6A RATING, FITS THE WIRES YOU ALREADY HAVE - Rated 6A at 5V-24V DC, these connectors designed to handle typical LED strip loads of most single-color LED strip runs helps reduce heat buildup at the joint. The wire slot accepts 22–20 AWG two-conductor cable - both solid and stranded - so you can use whatever extension wire is already on your shelf. Housing is made from flame-retardant polycarbonate. IP20 indoor-rated. Not for RGB, 10mm, or 12mm strips.
- BUILT FOR CABINET LIGHTING, SHELF STRIPS, AND EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN — Clip onto LED tape inside kitchen cabinets, under bathroom vanities, along bookshelf edges, inside closet rods, beneath stair nosings, or behind TV panels - anywhere a soldering iron won't fit and a screw-tightening connector takes too long. No electrical license needed. Designed for homeowners doing weekend upgrades, renters who need non-destructive installs, and interior decorators setting up display case lighting.
- WORKS WITH IP65 WATERPROOF STRIPS - WITH ONE PREP STEP - For non-waterproof 8mm strips: insert and clip. For IP65 silicone-coated strips: use a small tool (e.g., fingernail or plastic tool) to peel back the silicone over the two copper pads, then insert - the exposed pads clamp solidly. These connectors are not compatible with: 10mm strips (5050 RGB), 4-pin or 5-pin strips, or any COB strip wider than 8mm. Suitable for renovation projects, rental apartment lighting swaps, studio lighting upgrades, and holiday display setups where you need connections you can take apart and reuse next season.
- COMPLETE YOUR LED LIGHTING SETUP IN ONE ORDER — These connectors are the link between your LED strip and your power supply or dimmer — you'll typically need them alongside 8mm single-color LED tape lights (2835 or 3528), a 12V or 24V DC power adapter, and 22–20 AWG two-conductor extension wire cut to your exact cabinet run length. If you're replacing lights in multiple rooms, we recommend picking up 20+ connectors - one for each cut section plus spares for polarity adjustments. Everything ships ready to clip, no tools required.
